Square Peg

Square Peg was a diversity and disability arts programme developed and delivered by Artlink Hull and funded by Spirit of 2012 through Hull 2017 UK City of Culture. Square Peg features exhibitions, events, artist residencies and commissions, mentoring, forums, conferences and training.

Square Peg’s aims are to create opportunities for and to promote the work of disabled and diverse artists, to raise awareness of barriers faced by disabled people and diverse communities when engaging in cultural life, and to bring communities together to create a greater understanding. The legacy of Square Peg in Artlink’s work is ongoing.
