This project will see artist, Sarah Daniels, working with the local community to gather feedback from teenagers in the area to imagine and realise a re-design of the teen section of Ings Library.

The area will be a safe space for young people to engage with each other and will redefine how they use their local library resource.

Sarah will be running some closed workshops as well at Malet Lambert and Wilberforce College alongside Belfield House, The All Sorts Media Team, as well as other local groups in the area.

Barbara Grabher, will be evaluating the project, looking closely at ‘youth voice’.

A series of hands-on workshops will give young people aged 13-18 the change to give input on what they would like this space to be for them. These workshops will be held at the library and are free and open to the public. Simply drop in on one or both of the dates below:

Thursday 9th April – 3- 5.30pm (2.5hours)

Friday 17th April 10-12.30pm (2.5 hours)
