Dan Watts

Board Member

Dan Watts works in Disability/Deaf Advocacy and runs Elephant In The Room Disability Services. His advocacy focus is access within the art, music and culture sectors. He is an avid hobbyist photographer and occasional writer.

Sally Currie


Sally is a qualified accountant with 15 years of experience in various industries, including arts charities and not for profits. She is also a musician, performing predominantly under the guise of The Dyr Sister, singing her repertoire of eccentric and subversive modern-day fairytales to local and national audiences.

Duncan Edge

Board Member

Duncan has been an Access Worker, a Disability Discrimination Advisor, and currently works an Independent Living Advisor at Choices & Rights Disability Coalition. He celebrated 30 years of involvement in the voluntary sector in Hull in October 2016. He is also a poet and writer.

Terry Bowker

Chair of the Board

Professional life spent entirely in operational and capital projects within the public transport industry.  Terry has been involved in the Arts since 1990 thought the “Business in the Arts” initiative.  Terry joined the Artlink board in 1999, acting as Chair between 2007 to 2010.

Louise Babych

Board Member

Louise is a Relationship Manager at leading internal comms agency, H&H. Previous to this she spent 3 years as Development Manager for Hull 2017, the charity delivering Hull’s hugely successful UK City of Culture year. Louise lives locally and as a Fine Art Graduate, is hugely passionate about supporting visual arts projects and delighted to be a Trustee at Artlink Hull.

Janet Adamson

Board Member

Until 2017, Janet was Headteacher of a local primary school having been a teacher in the city for forty years. Maintaining a balance including the arts in the curriculum has always been of great importance to her. Currently a trustee of Hull & East Yorkshire Children’s University, Teeth Team, and a member of the MC4C Board promoting business enterprise to young people, Janet also provides creative business support to some local entrepreneurs.
