Operating since 2019, the Creative Connections project improves wellbeing by supporting people to learn new skills and express themselves creatively, reducing social isolation, building support networks and friendships, and helping people build the confidence to try new things.

Our co-production model means that participants and artists learn from each other and share their experiences, ideas and different ways to make art. Participants are in the driving seat, selecting artforms and themes, designing exhibitions and working on personal creative projects. Our project partners include Sight Support, Danny's Dream, The Disabilities Trust, Mencap & the NHS.

Open to all Disabled artists, we host a Creative Connections Open Access group session every second Wednesday from 12:30 - 2:30 at Artlink Hull in the 87 Gallery Studio.

You are invited to bring your own projects or work with facilitating artists to get involved with local arts projects, commissions, and opportunities as a collective.

Let us know here if you want to join or simply ask for more information.

Creative Connections have lots of workshops that you can read about here.
