Streams is our critical and creative response workshop series at Artlink Hull | 87 Gallery for anyone over the age of 18 and at any point on their creative journey. We welcome and support people with any level of experience and ability. It is a safe and welcoming space, where individuals from all backgrounds and subject-specialisms get an opportunity to share works in progress, respond to exhibitions and events, meet others, and encourage new working relationships.

Facilitated by representatives from The Critical Fish, each series begins with an investigation into the current exhibition in our gallery space, followed by two additional sessions which extend the initial responses, themes and ideas that we have started to accumulate, through practical activities.

These sessions are be largely shaped by those that join us, and there is no expectation to produce any finished outcomes. We aim to support people to gain confidence in producing and discussing their own work, however there is no pressure on an individual to speak unless they wish to.
